Wall ovens are combining cutting-edge touchscreen technology with state-of-the-art cooking using a combination of microwave, steam and convection heating – and the result is a unique 21st century cooking experience.
Why the fancy tech? Because it’s precise. Need to cook a nice sirloin? Today’s fancy ovens will give you a range of cooking options and choices, with the result being an exquisitely prepared piece of meat – and all of the work is computerized and activated with a touch of a button. The smart technology knows exactly how much heat is required and for how long, it also factors in what the cool-off and heat-up time should be. No guessing on your part anymore. The same computers flying a jet liner are being used to cook your bread and grill your veggies.
Is it complicated to use? Nope, in fact in many ways it’s easier than using your smartphone apps. The user interface is very simple– what do you want to cook? Press the choice. How do you want it cooked? Press the button – and the oven does the rest.
GE makes several types in its Profile, Cafe and Monogram lines. Check out the Monogram ZTD90DPSNSS or Cafe CTS70DP2NS1. Both makes can be connected to the Internet via w-fi and to your smartphone and both have cooking guidance and receipt instructions. The Bosch HSLP751 series also features a number of great features that makes virtually mistake-free cooking a breeze.
The Miele M series is also extremely cool. Miele makes this technology available on its M Series products, including ranges such as HR1134-1 or HR1955. And don’t forget to check out the Miele wall oven H77660 featuring finger touch settings. Terrific appliances!
